Welcome to The Fields Kids! We love our kids. We know that children are a gift from the Lord (Psalms 127:3) and that you, as parents, are responsible for discipling them (Deut 6:4-9). That being said, we want to come alongside you, as parents, and equip you to disciple your children well and at the same time, provide a safe, fun, Gospel centered environment for your kids on Sunday mornings.
We have classes for your kids from birth through 4th grade. Each class will be focused on teaching the scriptures in fun and engaging ways so that the message will come off the page and impact their life throughout the week. However, if you would like to bring your child to the worship gathering with you, that is fine. We value both! In fact, we purposely schedule Family Services every month or so in which all children are in the service with their family.
Sunday Mornings
Check-In
Children can be checked in prior to the worship gathering on Sundays at 9:30am. First time guests, please come 15 minutes early to fill out the needed paperwork so that you can make it to our worship gathering on time. The registration table is just through the main entrance. You can’t miss it.
Security
We have a secure check-in and check-out process that will insure your child’s safety while they are at The Fields Church. There will be security stickers for you, your child, and their bag with corresponding numbers on the welcome desk, as well as allergy alert stickers. Fill those out, stick one your child, one on their bag, and keep the other one to check out when you pick up your child.
Curriculum
Pre-School Curriculum (Birth-4 Year Olds)
Our Pre-School Curriculum is centered around getting our children a better understanding of the Gospel of Jesus Christ at an early age. It is age appropriate and is focused on 5 foundational truths.
- God Made Everything
- God is In Charge of Everything
- God is Good
- Jesus Came to Save Sinners
- God wants to Talk With Us
These 5 foundational truths will be taught in 8 lessons for 1 year olds, 15 lessons for 1-2 year olds, and 44 lessons for 3-4 year olds. They will repeat over and over for younger children to emphasize the same truth, while adding more lessons as children get older to teach the same truth with new scriptures.
Children’s Curriculum (K-4th)
Our Children’s Curriculum is focused on 20 attributes of God (God is almighty, God is compassionate, etc.). This will help them to better understand who God is and give them a desire to know and experience God in a real way.
