OUR VISION

A Church in the World

A scriptures never refer to the church as a building.  It always refers to the church as people, people who love Jesus and trust in the power of the cross to save them.  That being said, our vision is to see the church (people) in the world.  We want to bring the message of Jesus Christ to the world, not expecting the world to come to us.  Matthew 13:38 says, “The field is the world, and the good seed is the sons of the kingdom.”  The seed (people/church) should be in the field (world) to grow and produce fruit.

OUR MISSION

To represent and glorify God throughout the world.

We will attempt to do everything we can (Sow, Sell, and Buy Field – Matthew 13:44) to live authentic and real lives in the community around us (Field – Matthew 13:38), using every opportunity to live out and share the message of Jesus Christ (Seed – Matthew 13:4, 19) in a real and tangible way. We hope to show the world who Jesus really is with the hope that they will understand and desire to know him (Harvest – Matthew 13:30). We expect that those who experience Jesus in this way, through Biblical discipleship and apprenticeship, will then do the same and reproduce themselves in others also (Thirty, Sixty, or Hundredfold – Matthew 13:23).
