Who we are…

The Fields Church is a new church plant in the Mansfield area of DFW. Bryan and Joy Sloan, along with a handful of other families, sensed God leading them to take a leap of faith and start a new church. It was not because we didn’t like our old church or because we thought we could do it better. It was simply being faithful to what we sensed God was leading us to do. In fact, church in the scriptures was not a building, but a group of people who loved Jesus and came together to worship Him. Our desire was and still is to take the church (followers of Christ) to the world, not expect you to come to the church (building). We had a passion to see a church focused on making disciples of all nations by intentionally sharing truth and life with them.
